Information for Success

What Not to Wear to a Job Interview

Job seekers—you HAVE to dress better for interviews. We're seeing more and more candidates rejected due to inappropriate interview attire. Regardless of whether it's intentional, human beings make immediate assessments based on appearance and the first interview is part of the "weed out" process. Do everything in your power to look amazing and professional on your next interview. Know your audience and choose your clothes wisely.

Survival of the Fittest: Will You Make It?

Regardless of the job, interviews all generally work the same way. The number of interviews you have may depend on the level of the job, but you can be certain that employers are looking for different things in a first interview than they are in a last interview. Understanding what you need to do to prepare will help you land the job.

Arriving on Time

Arriving on time is rule number one of a successful job interview. If you’re late, many employers will cut the interview short, or refuse to meet with you. But what about arriving too early—is that just as bad? The truth is, everything you’re doing as part of the interview process is being judged and each move you make should be calculated. Your arrival is the beginning of your first impression. Make it count.
